  • You'll embark on a once-in-a-lifetime journey through Uganda's most captivating landscapes. You'll be immersed in the biodiversity of Kibale Forest, home to the largest population of chimpanzees in Uganda. You'll trek through this forest, encountering the primates in their natural habitat. You'll venture into Bwindi Impenetrable National Park where you will trek through dense jungle terrain in search of the majestic mountain gorillas, a humbling encounter that will leave a lasting impression.

Itinerary

Welcome to Uganda! Upon landing at Entebbe Airport, you will be met by VIP Meet & Greet and assisted through immigration and baggage reclaim. You will have a private transfer to your hotel, the Boma for one night. You will spend the rest of the evening relaxing after your flight and have a delicious dinner in your hotel ready for your adventurous holiday ahead. Overnight at The Boma Entebbe – Bed & Breakfast

After breakfast, you will drive for 5hrs to Kibale Forest National Park, however you could also opt to have a flight to Kasese Airstrip which is approximatly 2hrs. On arrival in Kasese, you will set off to Kibale forest where you will enjoy a guided trek through the forest and hopefully see the chimpanzees that call this forest home. Upon arrival in Kasese, you will be driven to Turaco Treetops and check in for a two-night stay.   A guided trek through Kibale Forest provides an incredible opportunity to witness the daily life of these chimpanzees. The experience of watching them in their natural environment is both thrilling and educational, offering insights into their complex social structures and behaviors. Kibale National Park is also home to a variety of other wildlife, including forest elephants, buffalo, and over 375 species of birds, making it a must-visit destination for nature enthusiasts and wildlife photographers alike. Today, you will embark on a scenic flight to Kihihi Airstrip, the gateway to the remarkable Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.   Upon landing at Kihihi, you will be greeted and transferred to your accommodation at Mahogany Springs Lodge, located in the heart of the forest. As you make your way through the picturesque landscapes, you'll get your first glimpse of the green, mountainous terrain that makes Bwindi a UNESCO World Heritage Site.   Once you arrive at Mahogany Springs Lodge, you'll check in for a two-night stay in this luxurious and serene haven. The lodge offers unparalleled comfort and breathtaking views of the surrounding forest, creating a perfect blend of nature and luxury. After a relaxing evening, you will head for gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park which is home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas, making it one of the best places to observe these magnificent animals in their natural habitat. Following a guide, you'll trek through the dense jungle in search of gorillas.   When you finally come face-to-face with these gentle giants, it truly is an incredible experience. Watching the gorillas interact and play just a few meters away is an awe-inspiring experience that will leave a lasting memory.   After your exhilarating day of gorilla trekking, you’ll return to the comfort of Mahogany Springs Lodge, where you can relax and reflect on the day’s unforgettable encounters. Sadly today is the end of your Uganda adventure. After breakfast, you will have a transfer back to Kihihi/Kisoro Airstrip to catch your flight back to Entebbe. Upon arrival in Entebbe, you will check in for your departure flight.
