It is then onto Bwindi Forest – a magnificent luxuriant swathe of rainforest across the ridges of the Albertine rife valley.
  • It is in this ancient rainforest that we encounter a famous and endangered resident, the mountain gorilla. All the tiredness of the hike is magically lifted away as we first hear the mutterings and feeding noises of these mighty primates. We are allowed to venture closer to the gorilla family with our trained guide giving directions and advice. The chance to be so close to them and share in their moments will never be forgotten.
