Meet and greet on arrival at the airport. Our company representative will pick and transfer you to hotel for Dinner & Overnight at Cozy Safari Kigali – Breakfast | Lunch | Dinner.

After an early breakfast, we follow the road as it climbs and descends some of the thousand Hills, with spectacular views all along the way. Arrive at Huye. Visit the Cultural Museum. It is a must for anybody who is interested in the Rwandan history & culture. Time permitting, tour the remarkable arboretum and continue toward the Nyungwe forest. Covering 970 km2, the Highlands provide unique habitat for thirteen species of primate, including chimpanzees, L’Hoest and owl-faced monkeys. As you walk under the canopy of majestic trees, a large group of semi wild colobus monkeys can be seen feeding on wild figs and jumping from branch to branch. This high-altitude jungle floor boasts some of the most beautiful orchids in the world in the afternoon after lunch you will go for the canopy walk in Rwanda. After a refreshing early morning swim or take a boat cruise on the lake. Return of lunch and after lunch you head to Kinigi where you will check-in at your lodge. After an early breakfast, you will drive through the beautiful hills of Rwanda and cross to the southwestern Uganda bordering Congo and Rwanda through the Cyanika Border post. After all the paperwork, you will drive straight to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Dinner & Overnight at Rushaga Gorilla Camp – Breakfast | Lunch | Dinner   OPTION: Before leaving for Uganda, you could also do the golden monkey trekking which takes place in the volcanoes national park. this would cost you only $100 per person

After breakfast take a short drive to Park Headquarters and meet with excellent local guides and trackers who will give a talk on the etiquette of gorilla trekking. We then hike into the forest where the gorillas were seen the night before and track from that point. The trekking can take from 1 to 6 hours and climb to altitudes more than 7,500 feet. The terrain is rough and at times muddy. Although the hike is physically demanding the beauty of the forest and surrounding scenery make the trekking worthwhile. Once the gorillas are located all fatigue is forgotten, as the experience is often described as being the most profound natural history experience in the world. Picnic lunches are provided, and it is important to take plenty of water. Cameras and plenty of fast speed film are recommended. It can rain at a few minutes notice; hence waterproof clothing is a good essential including zip lock bags for cameras and film. After breakfast, you will drive to Kigali through the Gatuna border post, this is a 3hrs drive you’re your lodge. Then you will visit the Gisozi Genocide Memorial Centre then after have lunch then your driver guide will drop you at the Kigali International airport for your next flight back home.
