Your journey east will begin with a visit to Jinja, a town on the shores of Lake Victoria about a 3-hour-drive of Kampala. This lake-side town is famous for being the historic source of the River Nile and, more recently, for developing into the adrenaline capital of East Africa. On a boat ride you will go on a cruise out to the actual source of the Nile, where Lake Victoria pours into the Nile, beginning its 6,650 km long journey to the Mediterranean. After this little stop you will continue on toward to Sipi Falls in the foothills of Mount Elgon National Park. This verdant and hilly landscape has a spectacular series of waterfalls and a network of walking trails winding through villages and lush coffee-producing fields. Dinner & Overnight stay at Sipi Falls – Breakfast | Lunch | Dinner

The Sipi River flows over the foothills of Mount Elgon, forming a series of waterfalls – which culminate in a spectacular drop. The waterfalls are surrounded by beautiful walking trails and lush green hills. A local guide will lead you on a 3-hour hike through the region to visit these falls. Besides nature in abundance your hike will include a local lunch experience and a tour of a small local coffee producing farm. This is the perfect time to pick up some high-quality Ugandan coffee to take home to your friends and family. If you are missing a bit adrenaline in your day you can abseil from the top of the 100-meter-high Sipi Falls. Hanging from a rope in the cool mist of the cascading falls right beside you, you will have a spectacular panoramic view of the valley below. The additional cost for this optional activity is USD 50 per person. Dinner & Overnight stay at Sipi Falls  – Breakfast | Lunch | Dinner

Moroto town is located near the gentle slopes of Mount Moroto (3085m), and it is the beating heart of the Karamoja region. In the early morning you leave for a scenic hike on Mount Moroto, the highest mountain of Karamoja. During the walk you will visit the So Tepeth mountain people and get an insight into their culture and everyday lives. In the morning you will have the opportunity to visit a traditional Karamajong manyatta. A manyatta is a village made up of several huts, which in turn are surrounded by a fence made of branches and thorns. These are put up to keep the cattle in and to protect them from thieving rival tribes and wild animals. Visiting a manyatta will give you an interesting insight into the customs and traditions of the Karamajong. After this visit you will head farther north to the most remote and pristine national park in the country: Kidepo Valley National Park. In the rugged semi-arid valleys in the extreme northeast of Uganda, the park lies hidden away in a corner between Uganda’s borders with South Sudan and Kenya. It is a long but very rewarding journey to get to this region with some of the most beautiful scenery in Uganda. On your arrival to the park you will have time to go on an afternoon game drive in the wild Narus Valley to see herds of elephant and buffalo. You might even spot some lions and leopards perching on the various rocks dotting the valley floor. Dinner & Overnight Kidepo Savannah Lodge  – Breakfast | Lunch | Dinner
